Low Warpage Glass Fiber Reinforced PA6

ACCOM's low warpage glass fiber reinforced PA6, which is made of glass fiber and specially treated, can effectively reduce the problems of bending and shrinkage after molding. It is particularly suitable for manufacturing parts by injection molding while maintaining excellent strength. The shape and size of parts made of this material are very stable, not easy to be distorted over time or external forces, and the texture is hard and not easy to bend. Therefore, it is very suitable for the manufacture of various parts that need to be used for a long time and have strict requirements on shape accuracy.

While traditional glass fiber reinforced nylon materials improve their strength, they often cause shape deviations due to temperature distribution differences during the solidification process and internal tension. Low warpage glass fiber reinforced PA6 effectively controls this deformation problem by improving the fiber arrangement and incorporating specific formula ingredients, making the size of the manufactured parts more stable, especially suitable for the manufacture of parts with strict dimensional accuracy requirements in automobiles, electronic equipment and industrial equipment.

Key performance

Extremely low warpage and shrinkage: The glass fiber added to low warpage glass fiber reinforced PA6 is carefully arranged and formulated to effectively relieve the tension generated inside the material. This ensures that the parts injected into the mold are cooled more evenly, thereby obtaining outstanding shape and size retention capabilities. At the same time, the added glass fiber significantly improves the hardness and strength of the material, so that the load-bearing parts made of it have stronger load-bearing capacity, are not easy to bend, and can withstand impact and vibration.

High rigidity and strength: Glass fiber reinforcement improves tensile strength, flexural modulus, and impact resistance for load-bearing components.

Excellent surface quality: Compared to traditional glass fiber PA6, the material reduces the visibility of surface fibers and improves the aesthetics of exterior parts.

Good heat resistance: Not as good as the high-temperature PA6-GF, but still has a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 180–200°C (356–392°F) under load.

Chemical and abrasion resistance: PA6 retains its inherent resistance to oils, fuels and abrasion for harsh environments.

Fields of application

The material is widely used in many industries because of its ability to maintain stable shape and produce parts with precise dimensions.

Automotive components: structural parts, housings and connectors with tight tolerances.

Electrical & Electronics: Thin-walled housings, connectors, and sensor housings with minimal distortion are required.

Industrial machinery: gears, bushings and structural supports that require high dimensional accuracy.

Consumer goods: High-precision components in appliances, power tools, and sports equipment.

Medical devices: Non-implantable enclosures and device components that require stability and durability.

ACCOM's low warpage glass fiber reinforced PA6 is ideal for manufacturers looking for high precision, low distortion and strong mechanical properties. Its lightweight, durable, and economical properties make it the material of choice for high-performance engineering applications.
